Making a Difference: Will Aid 2025

This November, Portway Solicitors is proud to take part in Will Aid 2025, a nationwide campaign that unites solicitors and charities to help build a better future for people and communities across the UK and beyond.

Through Will Aid, our solicitors waive their fees for writing basic Wills and instead invite clients to make a voluntary donation to support eight life-changing charities. Every donation, no matter the size, contributes to vital work that changes lives – from protecting vulnerable children to providing clean water and healthcare around the world.

Understanding Will Aid

Since its launch in 1988, Will Aid has helped thousands of people make their Wills while raising over £24 million for charitable causes.

By taking part, you can ensure your loved ones are protected while supporting organisations such as the British Red Cross, NSPCC, and Age UK – charities that bring hope, care, and dignity to those who need it most.

The suggested donations are:

  • £120 for a Basic Single Will

  • £200 for a pair of Basic Mirror Wills

Your entire donation goes directly to Will Aid, shared equally among the partner charities.

How You Can Take Part

To participate, simply book an appointment with our team during November. We will take your initial instructions, prepare your Will and guide you through each step with care and professionalism.

Spaces are limited and appointments fill quickly each year – so we encourage clients to contact us early to secure their place.

You can also make your donation directly through the official Will Aid website: Will Aid
